Complex Healthcare renovations and additions are a specialty for the team at Scott-Long Construction. The construction team is currently using their skills at the UVA Health Prince William Medical Center at the University of Virginia. This project involves removing and replacing the Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology Equipment.

The commercial construction team at Scott-Long Construction has been working on this project since July. They’re partnering with Gresham Smith, TRC Engineers Inc., and WSP Engineers. “Completing projects that can help the community and enhance the health of patients is a big reason why we have done so many healthcare construction projects over the years,” said John of Scott-Long Construction. “We are thrilled to be part of another project that involves making sure patients who go to the UVA Health Prince William Medical Center can get the most up to date care.”

Scott-Long Construction has been doing healthcare renovations and remodels since 1989. Over the years, the team has done dozens of these types of projects and become experts in this area of construction. Scott-Long Construction is also currently working on renovations at an Equine Medical Center and in a bariatric surgery center.

The renovations and upgrades to the equipment at  UVA Health Prince William Medical Center are expected to be complete in February. The team at Scott-Long would be happy to be a resource and discuss what it takes to be successful in Healthcare construction.
