Scott-Long Construction was founded in 1961 by my father as Bruce Scott Construction. Driven to continue my father’s vision to reshape the commercial construction industry, I’m proud to carry on the legacy of a company that continues to embody quality, expertise, and a relentless commitment to our clients.
Our team of shareholders is a dynamic group of individuals who aren’t just executives; they’re dedicated team members personally committed to creating win-win scenarios, because at Scott-Long Construction, your success is our success. Through open communication, efficiency, and attention to detail, we create projects where both parties benefit, ensuring a positive impact and a successful outcome for all.
Each shareholder plays a direct role in the success of every project. Among our six shareholders, you’ll find a diverse mix of expertise, including a site superintendent, two Assistant Project Managers, and other members from the executive team. This multi-faceted approach ensures that every aspect of your project benefits from their hands-on commitment and expertise.

Founder
We celebrate the life of our founder, Bruce Scott. Although we miss Bruce and his leadership, we are thrilled with the legacy he left us to care for and nourish.
Bruce founded the company in 1961 with the guiding principles of integrity, excellence and a belief that “people are important.” He was most proud of Scott-Long Construction and those who worked alongside him. Today we continue to continue to honor his legacy.
