Shady Grove Adventist Hospital 2E/2W Renovation in Gaithersburg, Virginia A Design-Building project - Eight-week phased completion of 34 patient rooms, elevator, lobby, sterile core, and Nurse’s Station.
Holy Cross Hospital ED Observation This is our first project at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland; it included the renovation of existing space for observation units near the operational Emergency Department in less than 10 weeks.
Virginia Hospital Center
Virginia Hospital Center delivers more than 3,000 babies every year. Scott-Long recently started a 35,000SF interior renovation to the clinical areas of the Women and Infant Health Department. The project will consist of 3 new C-sections, 5 Triage rooms, 4 new Labor Delivery Rooms, 13 MD sleep rooms, cosmetic renovation to 12 existing Labor Delivery Rooms and to 19 existing private patient rooms.
Scott-Long recently completed a 9,400SF interior renovation to the central nurse station core and creation of two new nurseries for the Third floor in the Women and Infant Health Services Building.
Inova Life With Cancer
This project consists of a 17,000SF three-story, stand-alone building. It will be a community support and education center for people who are living with the challenges of cancer.
Sibley Hospital Sibley Hospital is the only hospital in Washington, DC to offer TomoTherapy, a new state-of-the-art Cancer Treatment. The system allows for a level of precision in radiation therapy never before attainable in a linear accelerator. The Hi-Art system's treatment delivery unit doubles as an on-board CT scanner. TomoTherapy is "adapative" in that the treatment plan can be changed at any point during treatment if the target has changed. TomoTherapy delivers radiation with such precision, even tumors near critical structures can potentially be treated with little or no damage to healthy tissue or organs.
Inova Fair Oaks Parking Garage The newest addition to Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. The structure will be a new cast-in-place, five story, 950 parking space garage. Project completion is anticipated for Spring 2009.
Radiology Imaging Associates New state-of-the art 11,648SF medical imaging suite. The Phillips Panorama 1.0T open MRI scanner is one of only a few in the United States. The suite also includes mammography, CT, R/F and R/T scan equipment.
Winchester Medical Center Winchester's mammography suite was expanded and renovated in two phases to avoid inconveniencing patients in adjacent rooms. The project included installation of mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment, plus curved walls and a variety of high-end finishes.
Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Completed in June of 2006, Shady Grove's new satellite emergency services facility in Germantown, Maryland, includes a waiting room, 15 treatment rooms, two triage rooms, and administrative offices.
Inova Health SystemSince 1989, Scott-Long has completed over 300 projects for Inova Fair Oaks, Fairfax, and Mount Vernon Hospitals in Virginia.
