Our Scott-Long team has been busy celebrating Spring by getting out there and engaging our clients and colleagues in lots of fun! See where we’ve been:
Gold Cup – Scott-Long and our friends at Leo A. Daly Architects shared a wonderful day together on May 1st out at the races in The Plains, Virginia.
Medical Office Summit – Scott-Long co-sponsored a health care real estate summit presented by Bisnow Media on April 27th. Almost 400 people showed up to hear Inova and Adventist CEOs, developers and brokers discuss the state of our market. We also all had a lesson in how not to be confused by John Scott’s name! Read this review of the event.
Capitals Playoff Game – Round 1 Game 5 – Scott-Long treated some of our important clients to a night out at the Verizon Center. It’s a good thing we had so much fun, because unfortunately, the Caps did not win the game, nor did they advance to the next round!
Golf Tournament at HillTop Golf – Scott-Long is currently managing a landfill capping project at Hilltop in preparation for the new Wegmans and other planned developments. We participated in the golf tournament on April 20th with some of our friends. Have you ever golfed on top of a landfill? It’s pretty awesome! It’s the largest privately-owned parcel in Fairfax County and you can even see Mount Vernon from one of the tees!
Inova Fairfax Hospital’s Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit finally opened for patients at the end of March! On March 25th we attended the grand-opening ribbon-cutting ceremony. We’re so proud of being a part of such a special project for such a special client.
